EcoBroker Certified
The Green Market Advantage™Being EcoBroker certified is not intended as legal advice and all parties are advised to seek advice of competent legal counsel for legal matters.
After obtaining my EcoBroker certification I began focusing on buyers and sellers that were looking to benefit from professional guidance during real estate transactions. As a real estate professional I can offer that added value through unique perspective on energy, environmental, and green market issues. Technologies are changing and we as real estate agents must be aware of those issues that impact the new home you are looking to purchase. As an owner looking to sell their property, having the "green" features, as reported in a 2000 and 2001 (up front) for green features, Cahners Residential Group survey reported that consumers would pay an additional $2,500-$5,000 (up front) for green features, and an additional 20% would pay as much as $10,000 extra (in up front costs).
1Consumers that own property with "green" features is likely to have lower utility bills each month, experience an increased level of comfort, and improved health benefits through indoor air quality.Look for the Energy Star label inside the electrical fuse box on the side of your home.
